EBOO (aka EBO2) AT A GLANCE

HISTORY OF EBOO

Using ozonation is not new. They have been researching different ways to ozonate the blood.

This is not mainstream medicine. But EBO2 is being studied for things which modern medicine has issues treating.

EBOO treatment is used for physical injuries, fatigue, Lyme disease, long-Covid, and inflammatory or autoimmune disorders. Performed to optimize general well-being, encourage anti-inflammation, and boost athletic performance. One study talks about viruses and bacteria that are resistant to medicines. “Oxidation therapies have shown an extremely high safety profile…Ozone therapy, the most studied and least expensive to perform, is in itself a germicide.”

WHY DO EBO2?

Think of EBOO as a giant filter for your blood. For those with chronic diseases, inflammation, infections, and exposure to contaminants, it is thought to help. Studied applications for ozonation of the blood and its benefits:

  • Arterial circulatory disorders
  • Chronic inflammatory processes – orthopedic, rheumatology, rheumatoid arthritis
  • Lyme disease
  • Long-Covid and viruses/bacterial diseases
  • Diseases of the arteries, especially in diabetics
  • Chronic intestinal disease
  • Chronic hepatitis B and C
  • Diseases related to aging

HOW DOES EBO2 WORK?

There are many theories. In addition to the filter, the oxidation helps your body. Fundamentally, it is thought to help reduce oxidative stress. Some think it helps with red blood cell metabolism, ATP production and mitochondrial function, increases oxygen release, activates immunocompetent cells, and helps with interferons and interleukins.

EBOO Patient Journey

Our “I Got Biohacked” series featuring Stevie follows her journey as she experiences for the first time our EBO2 (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygentation and Ozonation = EBOO) treatment at Biohackr Health.

EBOO Cost

Cost for one session of EBOO – which is a one hour procedure, with two IVs to form a closed blood circle, oxygenates, ozonates, and filters the blood.

Cost is $2400. When looking for EBOO in the Bay Area, this is the typical rate. There are others who offer “10 pass ozonation”, which is $1500-$3000.

We prefer EBO2, as it has been shown more effective in studies

  • High-dose hyperbaric ozone –10 passes of HBO3–> delivers 140,000 μg of ozone.
  • Ozone dialysis at a concentration of 30 μg/mL and a blood flow of 30 mL/min can easily deliver 3.28 or more times (460,000 μg) the amount of ozone delivered by the 10-pass method.
