We at Biohackr Health are fans of NAD- it improves your whole body at a cellular level by helping your mitochondria and energy production. It is thought to help with energy, endurance, cellular repair, brain health, metabolic health, sleep, and whole body rejuvenation.

But how much should you take? What formulation?

This was a poorly studied area in the past as it was difficult to test NAD levels. There now is a test to see your NAD levels, which we perform at Biohackr Health. We urge you to find your level before you start supplements.

  • Why? We know NAD levels decline with age, but everyone is different. When we tested our staff, the levels generally correlated with age, but we had a few staff who had out of the norm low levels for their age.
  • You need to supplement more the older you are.
  • Certain conditions may increase your need for NAD, depending on your health.
  • Your lifestyle, stress, and exercise may change your NAD need. (Doing high intensity training? You may need more NAD)
  • Studies have shown the range of NMN dosage from 150-1200. That is an incredible range. Another study showed taking 250-900mg/day increased NAD blood concentrations. Again, that is a giant range.
  • TEST. See how deficient you are. Treat with our NAD system. RETEST. Then calibrate.
  • More is NOT better. You want your NAD levels to be in range.
